He is active in teaching and research and has authored more than 55 publications (indexed articles, conference abstracts, book chapters) and delivered 40 international and national lectures and has 30 committee leadership and attended more than 56 international conference and 84 courses and workshops. He is experienced in examining and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students. Dr. Al-Marhoon subspecialty of interest is treatment of male infertility (Micro-varicocelectomy, Sperm extraction by operating microscope); Endourology (flexible uretero-renoscopy and laser lithotripsy); treatment of prostate (TURP, HoLEP, Rezium); and Reconstructive surgery (Neobladder, Urethroplasty with buccal mucosal graft, Penile prosthesis, Penile enlargement by silicon, Testicular prosthesis, Artificial urinary sphincter).
